Jiu Jitsu Class

6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

White Belts 1 stripe and above. Our Jiu Jitsu classes offer a comprehensive training experience for students who have completed the basics program. Each class begins with individual warm-up exercises and technical revision to prepare for the session ahead. This is followed by technical instruction where we focus on the concepts and techniques with the highest percentage of success. We believe in the power of strong fundamentals, and our instructors take the time to delve into the details that allow students to execute techniques even better. Positional training and situational drills are a key aspect of our classes. During this training, students practice live resistance techniques starting from specific positions and situations, with defined end points where they reset and start again. This allows for a deeper exploration of each position and is the perfect introduction to regular sparring training. For those with more experience, free sparring/rolling is available after class.

Open Mat

7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Open mat is a time when you can come to the gym, and there is no set class, but the mats are β€œOpen” for you to use. It is the perfect time to meet up with your friends and bond over your love for the game. Since there is not a structured class to plan around it is often a much more casual environment. Expect to see lot's of rolling (sparring), some drilling and talking. It's a great time to get to know your teammates. You can train as little or as much as you wish or simply just come to watch.
